I had my surgery on July 17. I am on pureed foods now. So far things were "moving" pretty well until tonight. I think I need a stool softener. What did your doctors let you use to get things going smoothly?

Hi,
I got some stool softners from Walmart. Also to get it moving I used Dulcolax!!!!! Sometimes even 6 years out I have to do that when I eat to many carbs.

I also take Benefiber once a day. It is odorless, tasteless, not gritty, and it desoves perfectly clear.

Good luck....connie d

Until I could take other things, I ground up flax seeds and put them in my cream of wheat.  Wow, do they work!
